awesome ruins near Angkor Wat, Cambodia
Begin your adventure in in Siem Reap, spending the first day exploring the ancient temple complex of Angkor Wat. This place is massive, so we’ll get a local guide and explore on our motorcycles. There are some fantastic waterfalls and lakes in the area, and we’ll be sure to check them out in addition to all the old religious structures.
crossing a small stream in the Cambodian jungle
Ride north from Siem Reap through jungles and on some great trails, all the way up to the town of Preah Vihear, very near the border of Thailand. The town was named after a really cool clifftop temple, which we’ll definitely make time to visit.
two ADV Outriders cross river in Cambodia
This part of northern Cambodia is extremely remote, and boasts some of the best adventure riding in the country. The route east to Tbeng Meanchey has some great trails,, often rocky and steep, as well as a couple of fun river crossings!

Heading south again through the hills, we arrive in Kampong Thom, Cambodia’s second-largest province. Kampong Thom is famous for its Angkorian influence, and one of the most interesting of these is Preah Khan Temple, a ruin hidden deep in the forest. The trail ride there is as much fun as visiting the temple itself.
ADV Outriders cross bridge in Cambodia
Ton Le Sap is the huge lake in the middle of Cambodia. We’ll cross it by ferry on our way south to Chrok La Eng, a remote area that’s home to a fantastic waterfall.
rider getting muddy on dirt trail on motorbike tour in Cambodia
Choam is the midpoint on our journey from the lakeside down to Kirirom National Park, and is situated in another fairly remote part of Cambodia. Spend the night there in a traditional homestay, to get a real feel for the local way of living.
three ADV Outriders ride on muddy trail in Cambodia
Ride through jungle and over mountain trails on your way to Kirirom, arguably Cambodia’s most beautiful national park. Extremely biodiverse and covered in an absolutely massive rainforest, this place is amazing.
small dirtbike trails through the Kirirom National park
The way back east to Phnom Penh is pretty flat, but there are a few good trails to explore, mostly through rice fields and small villages. The city itself, while unbelieveably busy, is home to some fantastic bars and restaurants, a great place for our farewell meal.

Inclusions X Extras

Each of our guides has years of experience running motorcycle tours and is an expert on the local area.

All speak English and the local language, and guides who can speak other languages are sometimes available on request.

The cost of hiring your motorcycle is included in that of the tour. All running expenses, including fuel, are included as well.

All meals are provided, as are drinks and snacks along the way.

You’ll dine sometimes in your accommodation, sometimes at quality local restaurants.

Let us know in advance of any preferences or dietary requirements and we are happy to cater for these.

Accommodation is minimum 3-star quality.

Standard is a twin share room but on occasion (due to remote location) we will share one large, dorm-type room: in a stilt house or a yurt, for example.

All locations have been scouted beforehand and checked for cleanliness and good service.

Conditions in many of our destinations, in Asia, for example, may be really different from your home country.

Rain can be heavy, and start falling at a moment’s notice.

We’ll sort you out with a waterproof rain poncho and overtrousers where necessary.

We offer twin-share accommodation as standard. In most locations, though, we can arrange single occupancy if you prefer.

This comes at a small surcharge, but in most tour destinations is quite reasonable.

While most riders prefer to bring their own gear, we do have a limited range of extra gear (boots, gloves, armour and helmets, for example) in most of our tour destinations.

Naturally, whether or not we’ll be able to supply you with gear depends on size and availability.

We are happy to provide suggestions on pre and post-tour bookings in accommodation: knowing the area well, we know the best places to stay at all price points.

We can even book for you as an added extra without any service fee, sometimes even at a discount.
